ABOUT Jemma
My ideal client is looking to improve their understanding of themselves & their relationships. Using this and some contributions from my expertise, I love helping my clients create a life and foster relationships that they truly enjoy. I have over 15 years of experience as a therapist and am dually licensed in mental health counseling and marriage and family therapy.
With Level 3 training in the Gottman Method & a special interest in attachment science, I am equipped and eager to help my clients find healthier, more effective ways of living and communicating. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. Adolescents hold a special place in my heart and I’m happy to work with anyone age 13 and up.
I’m always working on professional and personal growth so that I have more to offer my clients. I have additional training and experience in the treatment of ADHD and in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, helpful for the treatment of trauma, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. I often use CBT and a Client-Centered approach with individuals. When working with me, you will experience a friendly, comforting atmosphere and enjoy a therapist with a sense of humor and a compassionate heart.
